Iran has launched waves of ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for a major attack on Tehran’s nuclear sites and military leaders. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has vowed that Iran’s response will not be “half-measured”, warning of severe consequences.
Explosions were reported over Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, with sirens sounding across Israel on Friday night. The strikes follow Israel’s unprecedented attack in the early hours of Friday, which targeted Iranian nuclear facilities, senior military commanders, and scientists.
The situation remains highly volatile, with both nations bracing for further escalation.
