Men er det det viktigste? Hva skal man egentlig gj\u00f8re etter en akutt skade, for eksempel en ankelovetr\u00e5kk eller muskelstrekk? De siste \u00e5rene har akutt skadebehandling g\u00e5tt fra forkortelsene ICE, RICE og PRICE til POLICE. Nylig kom det et nytt forslag fra forskerene Blaise Dubois og Jean-Francois Esculier for \u00e5 optimisere bedring etter en akutt skade: PEACE &amp; LOVE. N\u00e5 skal vi g\u00e5 igjennom hva dette egentlig betyr.<\/p><p>De f\u00f8rste 1 til 3 dagene etter en akutt skade anbefaler forskerene at \u00ab<strong>PEACE<\/strong>\u00bb leder tiln\u00e6rmingen:<\/p><p><strong>P for Protect<br \/><\/strong>Grunnen til at vi \u00f8nsker \u00e5 beskytte skadet vev er for \u00e5 redusere bl\u00f8dning og unng\u00e5 un\u00f8dvendig stess p\u00e5 vevet som er skadet (1). MEN, det betyr ikke at du b\u00f8r holde deg helt i ro. Hvis vi tar et ankelovertr\u00e5kk som eksempel, betyr det at hvis det er vondt \u00e5 g\u00e5, s\u00e5 bruker du krykker for \u00e5 avlaste ankelen og s\u00e5 pr\u00f8ver du \u00e5 g\u00e5 s\u00e5 normalt som mulig. En skinne, bandasje eller teip kan ogs\u00e5 beskytte ankelen de f\u00f8rste dagene. Vider bruker man smerten og hevelsen i ankelen til \u00e5 vurdere n\u00e5r man kaster krykkene eller fjerner skinnen.<\/p><p><strong>E for Elevate<\/strong><\/p><p>Hold skadet vev h\u00f8yere en hjerte n\u00e5r du ligger i ro, for \u00e5 minimalisere hevelse.<\/p><p><strong>A for Avoid anti-inflammatory modalities<\/strong><\/p><p>Unng\u00e5 betennelseshemmende medisiner. Selv om de kan gi smertelindring kan de p\u00e5virke langsiktig vevstilheling negativt, spesielt hvis tatt i h\u00f8ye doser (2). For \u00e5 minimalisere bl\u00f8dning og hevelse er det viktig \u00e5 legge p\u00e5 kompressjon s\u00e5 fort som mulig (2). N\u00e5r det gjelder ankel er det best \u00e5 legge noe rundt beinet p\u00e5 utsiden (lateral malleolus) for \u00e5 f\u00e5 mest mulig effekt av kompresjonen. Man kan bruke sokken sin, bomull, papir for \u00e5 lage en U, eller klippe en U ut av et sitteunderlag. N\u00e5r det er p\u00e5 plass, s\u00e5 legger du et elastisk bandasje, fra t\u00e6rne og litt opp p\u00e5 leggen.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FBV6g8q-pjE\">Her<\/a>\u00a0kan dere se hvordan man legger en bandasje p\u00e5 en ankel etter et overtr\u00e5kk.<\/p><p><strong>E for Educate<\/strong><\/p><p>S\u00f8k god informasjon, for eksempel hos en fysioterapeut, s\u00e5 raskt som mulig. Det er viktig \u00e5 vite hva man b\u00f8r unng\u00e5 de f\u00f8rste dagene, men enda viktigere \u00e5 f\u00e5 god informasjon om alt du faktisk kan gj\u00f8re selv om du har en skade og hvordan det optimiserer tilhelingen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Etter de f\u00f8rste 1-3 dagene s\u00e5 trenger skadet vev \u00ab<strong>LOVE<\/strong>\u00bb:<\/p><p><strong>L for Load<\/strong><\/p><p>De fleste vevene i kroppen trenger belastning for \u00e5 tilheles (2, 4). En fysioterapeut kan hjelpe deg med \u00e5 finne ditt utgangspunkt og \u00e5 lage en plan for videre optimal belastning.<\/p><p><strong>O for Optimism<\/strong><\/p><p>Psykologiske faktorer, som for eksempel frykt for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re vondt verre, kan p\u00e5virke symptomene etter et ankelovertr\u00e5kk mer en alvorlighetsgraden av selve skaden p\u00e5 leddb\u00e5ndene (5). Det er derfor veldig viktig med realistisk og god informasjon helt fra starten.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>VE for Vascularisation og Exercise<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00c5 komme i gang med aktivitet og trening s\u00e5 fort som mulig har vist seg \u00e5 forbedre funksjon og evne til \u00e5 jobbe, samt redusere sjansen for en ny skade (2).<\/p><p><strong>Konklusjon<\/strong><\/p><p>Denne gjennomgangen tydeliggj\u00f8r at god informasjon helt fra starten er n\u00f8kkelen til \u00e5 optimalisere tilhelingen etter en akutt skade. Det er viktig \u00e5 vite hva man b\u00f8r unng\u00e5 de f\u00f8rste dagene, men enda viktigere er det \u00e5 f\u00e5 informasjon om alt du faktisk kan og b\u00f8r gj\u00f8re, selv om du har en skade.
