Er det egentlig noe vits \u00e5 t\u00f8ye? Dette sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let skal vi pr\u00f8ve \u00e5 besvare.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Ulike m\u00e5ter \u00e5 t\u00f8ye p\u00e5<\/strong><\/p><p>Vi har ulike typer av t\u00f8yemetoder som kan bli brukt for \u00e5 \u00f8ke fleksibilitet og bevegelses kapasitet. De mest vanlige metodene er statisk, dynamisk og hold-slipp t\u00f8yning. Den statiske metoden er den mest vanlige. Her fokuserer man p\u00e5 \u00e5 strekke ut en muskelgruppe til endepunktet og holde den i 20-30 sekunder. Her kan man ogs\u00e5 legge p\u00e5 et overtrykk for eksempel gjennom en hjelper.<\/p><p>Videre s\u00e5 har man den dynamiske metoden, som ulikt fra den statiske bruker bevegelses m\u00f8nster som er nyttig i den aktuelle \u00f8velsen eller idretten. Man kan si at form\u00e5let med dynamisk t\u00f8yning er \u00e5 \u00f8ke fleksibiliteten for \u00e5 kunne utf\u00f8re en spesifikk bevegelse, idrett eller aktivitet. Et eksempel er g\u00e5ende utfall f\u00f8r en l\u00f8pe \u00f8kt.<\/p><p>Til slutt har man hold-slipp metoden hvor man f\u00f8rst utf\u00f8rer en passiv t\u00f8yning, etterfulgt av en periode med motstand utf\u00f8rt av en partner, f\u00f8r man slipper opp og utf\u00f8rer en ny passiv t\u00f8yning. Det er flere m\u00e5ter dette kan gj\u00f8re p\u00e5 men et eksempel er:<\/p><p>\u2013 Start med en 10 sekunder passiv t\u00f8yning<br \/>\u2013 Partneren gir deretter motstand i 5-8 sekunder, slik at det oppst\u00e5r en statisk kraftutvikling av den gitte muskelen.<br \/>\u2013 Slipp opp motstanden og g\u00e5 inn i en ny passiv t\u00f8yning, som holdes i 30 sekunder.<\/p><p>Mange som g\u00e5r til behandling hos oss p\u00e5\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.techhivetechnologies.com\/lfiold\/behandlere\/\">LFI Helse &amp; Trening<\/a>\u00a0sp\u00f8r hva som egentlig skjer n\u00e5r man t\u00f8yer. Uten at man skal g\u00e5 for mye inn i detaljene p\u00e5 det, s\u00e5 er det fortsatt ikke helt enighet om hva som skjer, men man vet at t\u00f8yning \u00f8ker fleksibilitet og bevegelsesutslag.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Er det mulig \u00e5 endre kroppsholdning gjennom t\u00f8yning?<\/strong><\/p><p>Tidligere tok man utgangspunkt i hypotesen om at \u201dd\u00e5rlig\u201d kroppsholdning f\u00f8rer til smerte eller skade. Denne teorien har heldigvis blitt motbevist s\u00e5 langt. Det er ikke funnet noen sammenheng mellom kroppsholdning og smerte. Videre har man brukt t\u00f8yning som et argument for at det endrer p\u00e5 kroppsholdning og som et element i skadeforebygging. Her har man tidligere brukt den typisk lutende forover b\u00f8yning av overkroppen som et frykt eksempel p\u00e5 d\u00e5rlig kroppsholdning. Mange av oss har vel f\u00e5tt h\u00f8re: \u201dRett deg opp eller s\u00e5 f\u00e5r du vondt i ryggen!\u201d Man har ikke funnet at t\u00f8yning kan endre p\u00e5 kroppsholdning. Isteden oppfatter man n\u00e5 kroppsholdning som en \u201cvane\u201d kroppen foretrekker \u00e5 hvile i, enn at det er en l\u00e5st strukturell posisjon. Ofte spurte sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l i dette tilfellet, er om t\u00f8yning kan \u00f8ke prestasjon og forhindre skade. Dette er ikke alltid et lett sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l \u00e5 svare p\u00e5. Behovet for bevegelighet avhenger som regel av hvilken idrett eller bevegelse som skal gjennomf\u00f8res. Noen ganger er det mer hensiktsmessig \u00e5 opprettholde en viss stivhet. Det har vist seg at stivhet i under ekstremitet har \u00f8kt prestasjon i l\u00f8ping og hopping. P\u00e5 den andre siden s\u00e5 er det viktig med en balanse fordi for mye stivhet kan f\u00f8re til skader. Det er her kompetansen til fysioterapeuter kommer inn.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Skal man t\u00f8ye da?<\/b><\/p><p>Det er ikke et ensidig svar p\u00e5 dette. Forskningen har ikke gitt oss noe klart svar p\u00e5 dette enda. Det er ikke holdepunkter for at t\u00f8yning varig endrer p\u00e5 kroppsholdninger eller p\u00e5virker langsiktig prestasjon i negativ eller positiv grad. T\u00f8yning kan \u00f8ke bevegelighet og bevegelsesutslag i et ledd. Men vi kan ikke si med sikkerhet om t\u00f8yningen i seg selv har en skadeforebyggende eller prestasjonsfremmende effekt. Andre metoder som \u00e5 \u00f8ke bevegeligheten gjennom gradvis progresjon av styrketrening ut i maks bevegelsesutslag kan ha bedre effekt.
