{"id":2464,"date":"2025-10-07T14:56:15","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T14:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.techhivetechnologies.com\/blocktvgambia\/strengthening-the-pharmaceutical-industry-in-west-africa\/"},"modified":"2025-10-07T14:56:15","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T14:56:15","slug":"strengthening-the-pharmaceutical-industry-in-west-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.techhivetechnologies.com\/blocktvgambia\/strengthening-the-pharmaceutical-industry-in-west-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"Strengthening the Pharmaceutical Industry in West Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The West African Health Organisation (WAHO) is organising, from 6 to 8 October 2025 in Accra (Ghana), the *Technical Committee and Steering Committee meetings of the ECOWAS Pharmaceutical Industry Development Project* .<\/p>\n<p>These meetings serve as a platform to:<\/p>\n<p>* Present the project to all key actors involved in its implementation<br \/>\n* Review progress made since inception<br \/>\n* Validate the next steps to build a robust regional manufacturing ecosystem<br \/>\n* Strengthen dialogue among stakeholders to boost pharmaceutical production capacity<br \/>\n* Promote synergies between regional partners<\/p>\n<p>With financial support from the *African Development Bank (AfDB)* , technical assistance from *UNIDO* , and the engagement of the *West African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (WAPMA)* , this *ECOWAS* -led initiative is implemented by *WAHO* .
