M. Keita, signed a 20 million Euros Financing Agreement with the European Union for the programme \u201cEU \u2013 Support to Improve Secondary Education for the Youth in The #Gambia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology; the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education; Permanent Secretaries; senior government officials; and members of the media. The session was chaired by the Permanent Secretary of MoFEA, Mr. Mod A.K. Secka.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, the Honourable Minister of Finance underscored that the programme will strengthen senior secondary education by enhancing quality, equity, digital innovation, and gender inclusion. He noted that it will also support the transformation of Gambia College into a University of Education, improve teacher training, and upgrade the national curriculum to better equip Gambian youth for future opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Hon.
