His arraignment has been scheduled for Thursday 15th January 2026.<br \/>\nEx-jungler Sanna Manjang set to stand trial over murder charges<br \/>\nHe is accused of being a key member of the junglers, which was a killer squad for former President Yahya Jammeh. Under former President Yahya Jammeh\u2019s regime, at least 240 people were allegedly killed while some others remained missing.<br \/>\nManjang was arraigned before the Kanifing Magistrate\u2019s Court on three counts of murder, including the alleged killing of veteran Gambian journalist Deyda Hydara, the co-founder of The Point Newspaper.<br \/>\nThe State Law Office might maintain the charges or increase them.
